About the speaker:

Massimo Petazzoni DVM, Italy

Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Milano, 1997. Chief of the Orthopedic department of the “Clinica Veterinaria Milano Sud”, Peschiera Borromeo, Italy.

Member of: SCIVAC, ESVOT, SIOVET, AVORE, AOVET Ambassador Member. Scientific lectures: +250 at national congresses, meetings and courses and +100 at International congresses. Author of 13 scientific papers. Lecturer at SCIVAC/ AO courses: Distal Extremities, External Fixation, Ao Masterclass Course on Advanced Corrective Osteotomies and at ESVOT and ACVS course on Corrective Osteotomies and Patella Luxation. He developed the Fixin system. Secretary of the SIOVET, Italian Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (2008-2011). Author of the Merial “Atlas of Clinical Goniometry” and Innovet “Atlas BOA, Breed Orthopedic Oriented Approach”. Council Member of the AVORE (Advanced Veterinary Orthopaedic and Research) from 1/2010. Particular interests: limb alignment, stifle surgery, hybrid external xators, Ilizarov technique, elastic internal xation.
