About the speaker: Dr. Ben Ahern is a specialist in equine surgery, equine sports medicine and rehabilitation - being dual board certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons and the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation. He has a PhD related to laryngeal function and surgery in horses. He has also authored multiple book chapters and published on a wide range of topics ranging from: Orthopaedics, Lameness, Novel tie-back procedures and Stem Cell Therapies. Dr. Ahern has worked in the US and Australia on a range of performance horses.
